Travis Shane Marcum

Travis Shane Marcum, 41 of Phico, WV passed away unexpectedly at home on August 5, 2020 He was the son of Don Ray Marcum and the late Chester and Louise Marcum. He was an avid outdoorsman he loved carving and whittling wood. He loved the rain he could set and listen to it all day. He is survived by his dad Don of Phico; his best friend and dog Xander; his close uncle and aunt, Danny and Sandy Marcum of Logan; a very special cousin whom was like his sister, Danielle (Brian) Simpkins of Logan; his nephew and niece, Travis and Tasia Davis of Logan; as well as 2 half-brothers, a half-sister and other nieces and nephews, and lots of other family members and friends he will be loved and missed by many. A memorial service is being planned for a later date and his remains are to be cremated. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made directly to Akers-James Funeral Home to help with the funeral expenses.
