Viola Ball

Viola Frye Ball, 82, of Lake was born November 11, 1925 in Wayne County, WV. Viola's spirit returned to God, Saturday morning October 25, 2008. She was the daughter of the late Frances Marion Frye and Mary Ellen Hale Frye. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Ivan Ball, three sisters, Gertrude Adkins, Sarah Mullins and Irene Frye and one brother Charlie Frye. Viola was Devoted to her children and grandchildren. She was a member of the Mt. Mission Church for over 55 years. Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Larry Ball, Sandra Garrett, Ronald (Vicky) Ball and Ricky (Regina) Ball all of Lake. One sister Ines (Charlie) Ross of Decatur, Illinois and her grandchildren, Bradley (Justine) Ball of Barboursville and Amber Ball of Lake. One great-grandson, Wesley Ball also of Barboursville. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 28, 2008 at the Mt. Mission Church at Lake with the Rev. Bobby Belcher officiating. Burial will follow at the Ball Family Cemetery on Ball's Branch at Lake. Friends and Family will serve as pallbearers. Friends may call from 6-9 p.m. Monday at the Church.
