Virginia Ilene Bevins

Virginia Ilene Bevins, 85 of McConnell died Wednesday at Logan Regional Medical Center. She was born January 5, 1930 in Belfry, KY, one of 11 children to Grover Cleveland Murphy and Columbia Hackney Murphy. Ilene was the last surviving sibling of her family. She is survived by her husband of 68 years Ernest Bevins. Her two sons and their wives Eugene and Teresa and Larry and Sue. Four grandchildren: Lauren, Kathryn and Jonathan Bevins and Rebekah Huff. One great grandchild, Annabella Leigh Podunavac. The family will gather at Forest Lawn Cemetery Friday morning at 11 for a graveside service led by Rev. Jim Musgrave. In lieu of flowers the requests memorials to the First Presbyterian Church of Logan. The family was assisted by James Funeral Home in Aracoma.
