Vivian Justice Butcher

Vivian Butcher, 71, of Whitman, WV passed away Wednesday, June 10, 2015 at Logan Regional Medical Center. Born May 20, 1944 in Logan, WV she was the daughter of the late Wetzell Justice and Susie Strunk Justice. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother Timothy Justice. Vivian was a longtime member of Whitman Freewill Baptist Church where she also served as the Church's Secretary. She was a longtime employee of Lewis Furniture Co. Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Larry Butcher of Whitman, WV. Her daughter Sharon (Mike) Gearhart of Whitman, WV. Her brother Wetzell Justice Jr. of North Manchester, Indiana. Two sisters Veronica (Jerry) Eplin of Whitman, WV and Delores Spriggs of Peru, Indiana. Her grandson Kenneth Sullivan of Huntington, WV and a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Friday, June 12, 2015 at the Whitman Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. Alvis Porter Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Pecks Mill. Friends may call on the family from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Church Thursday, June 11, 2015.
