Vivian Rose Hager 57 of Charleston WV formerly of Logan WV went to her heavenly home to be with the Lord Tuesday July 14th 2020 at her residence surrounded by her family and loved ones.
Vivian was born July 27th 1962 to the late James and Vena Shepherd.
Vivian loved her family more than anything. Vivian loved nothing more than to laugh and carry on. She always had a smile on her face and always made everyone else smile and laugh. She devoted her time to being on the ballfield and sports events with her kids, and singing praise in church. She will forever be remembered for the sweet caring soul she was.
Vivian was preceded in death by her loving parents, two brothers- Ronnie and Mitchell Shepherd, three very special nephews- Kyle Haynes, David Shepherd, and William Tiller, One niece- Misty Shepherd
Those left to cherish her memory and celebrate her life are her loving husband of 39 years Bobby Hager of Charleston WV. Her children Jamie Hager of Charleston WV, Holly (Bobby) Ford of Merritt Island FL, and Bobby (Brianna) Hager of Whitman WV. Her precious grandchildren that made her world- Trevor and Trey Mayo, Alyssa Messer, and Braxton Hager. Abigail, Charlotte, and Charlie Ford. Two sisters- Wanda (Bobby) Cooper and Michelle (Tim) Hinkle. Four brothers- Terry (Della) Shepherd, Larry Shepherd, Kenneth Shepherd, and David (Brenda) Shepherd. She had a host of nieces and nephews that she held dear to her heart.
Funeral services will be held at 1 P.M. Sunday, July 19, 2020 at Akers-James Funeral Home with dear family friend Brother Jimmy Copley officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery at Pecks Mill. Visitation will be from 11 A.M. until the time of the service Sunday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
Due to the current Covid-19 pandemic and the Governorâs guidelines for large gatherings only 25 people will be allowed in the facility at one time. Please plan your visit accordingly as you may be asked to wait before entering the building. Face coverings are also required when inside the building and social distancing should be taken into consideration. If anyone is unable to attend, the services will be live streamed via the link on our website www.jamesfh.com.
