Ephesians 4:8 - Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men. Wallace Meade, 81, of East Fork of Twelve Pole passed away Saturday, December 8, 2007 in Logan Regional Medical Center. He was born July 26, 1926 in Wayne, WV to the late Elva and Virgie Williamson Meade. He was also preceded in death by his two brothers; Gartha Meade and Lewis Meade. His daughter, Revina Faye Newsome and two grandchildren, Casey Kirk and Shaelyn Holmes. Mr. Meade was a Coal Miner and a member of the Mt. Moriah United Baptist Church. Survivors inlcude his wife of 45 years, Ina Jean Adams Meade of East Fork. His children; Tresia (Robert) White of Dingess, Truddy (Bruce) Ketchersid of Breeden, Wallaca (Lisa) Meade Jr. of Logan, Jeanie (Charles) Meade of Kentucky, Penny Meade of Lenore and Chloe (Teddy) Belcher of Chapmanville. Two brothers; Benjamin Franklin "B.F" (Della Mae) Meade of Princeton and Aley (Josephine) Meade of White's Addition. Two sisters; Patsy (Donald) Stroud of Breeden and Martha Jane (Noah) Kirk of Huntington. Also surviving him was a grandson who he raised, Joshua Meade of East Fork. Thirteen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Mr. Meade will be loved by all of his family and friends and his brothers and sisters in Christ. Visitation will be Tuesday, December 11, 2007 from 6:00 until 9:00 P.M. at the Mt. Moriah United Baptist Church in East Fork. Funeral Services will be Wednesday, December 12, 2007 at 1:00 P.M. at the Mt. Moriah United Baptist Church with Elders, David Messer, Sid Stoud, Freeland Browning and Danny Maynard officiating. Burial will follow in the Upper Baby Meade Cemetery at East Fork. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Condolences may be left at www.jamesfh.com.
