Wayne Edwin Warren

Wayne Edwin Warren, 87, of Huntington WV, formerly of Logan WV, died at home on Wednesday, May 19, 2010, after a long illness. He was born on February 24, 1923 in Kingwood, WV to the late Frederick and Florence Warren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother and his wife, James and Mary Warren and a sister and her husband, Mary Wilma and Charles Willard Harpold. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Nora Kuhn Warren; one daughter, Cynthia A. Warren of Huntington and one son, David L. Warren and his wife Glenetta of Lexington, KY; two grandchildren, Kayla Strang and Michael Hilterbrand of Lexington, KY; several devoted nieces and nephews; and his faithful feline companions, Charley, Jade and Abby. He was a 44 year employee of Appalachian Power Company in Logan, WV. Graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, May 22 at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Pecks Mills, WV.
