William Edward "Eddie" Morock

William Edward “Eddie” Morock, 67 of Whitman departed this life Tuesday February 13, 2018 at Trinity Healthcare Services of Logan. He was born January 3, 1951 in Mingo County, WV to the late Edward and Sarah Canterbury Morock. Eddie was a free spirit and was very friendly. He loved to travel and go to flea markets. He was a coal miner for 33 years and proud member of the UMWA. Those left to cherish his memory include: his sister, Mary (Bill) Sheppard; niece, Tina Fields; great-nephew, Timothy Clegg; and the entire Love family with whom he and his family were very close. Funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday February 18, 2018 at Akers-James Funeral Home at Logan with Tim Secrist officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery at Pecks Mill. Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until the time of the service Sunday also at the funeral home.
