Willis Marcum

Willis Marcum, 61 of Delbarton departed this life Monday September 12 at UK Medical Center in Lexington, KY. Willis was born April 6, 1955 in Delbarton, WV to the late Claude Marcum and Sena Newsome Marcum. In addition to his he was also preceded in death by: his brothers, Robert Marcum of Trace Fork, Rodrick Burns Marcum of Ragland, sisters, Nellie Harmon of Shelby, OH and Lilly Marcum of Ragland. He is survived by: his daughter, Tracy Marcum of New York; brothers, Colby Marcum of Holden, Donald Marcum of South Point, OH, Claude Marcum Jr. of South Point, OH, and Lacy Timothy Marcum of South Point, OH; special baby brother Billy Marcum of Delbarton; sisters, Judy Nelson of Ethel, Laura Rife Boney of Dehue, and Geraldine Mahone of Delbarton; special niece, Dora Crum of Ragland; nephew Colby J. Marcum of Ragland, and a host of other nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday September 19 at Akers-James Funeral Home in Aracoma. Burial will follow in the Vance Cemetery at Holden. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday also at the funeral home.
