Woodrow Cush Dingess

Woodrow Cush Dingess, 94, of Logan passed away Sunday February 3, 2008 at Trinity Health Care. He was Born June 6, 1913 a son of the late John Sr. And Rachel Dingess. Mr. Dingess was a coal miner, electrician and a former Logan County Jailer. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by 2 brothers Bill and Neal Dingess and a half sister Sena Dingess. Survivors include his wife Clara of Logan, one son Franklin (Connie) Dingess of Chapmanville and one daughter Freda (Fred) Parmesano of Belews Creek, NC. Additional survivors include one brother Harry Dingess and two half brothers John and Rufus Dingess, also 5 grandsons Carlos, Bobby, and Billy Dingess, Fred and Jeff Parmesano, 10 great-grandchildren. Services will be conducted Wednesday February 6, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at the James Funeral Home Chapel with the Pastor Carlos Dingess officiating. Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. until time of the services on Wednesday. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery. Freda and Franklin would like to thank the nurses, nursemaids and staff at Trinity Healthcare for all their love, care and support.
